I was born in Coney Island, Brooklyn, NY, the locale of the ultimate amusement park of America long before Disneyland. Coney Island, located on the Atlantic Ocean, was still thriving and spectacular at the time I was born. Later, it went downhill but has had something of a renaissance in recent years. These postcards are from Coney Island's heyday.
